Garden Design

Here at New Look Landscapes we have many ways to work with our clients on creating their vision for their outdoor space, through CAD & bespoke garden design.

Why should you choose a garden design?

Garden designs are a great way to help visualise how your outdoor space will look when the build is complete, to see the difference investing in the build will make to your garden and help decide on products, plants and colour schemes.

We can then bring your garden design and vision to life through our landscaping services.

Bespoke Design Service

Stage 1

Initial Consultation

Each enquiry begins with a free initial 1-2 hour consultation. This is where we get to know each other and hear your ideas and reasons for the proposed changes. We review the general character of the garden and establish a project brief and indication of budget.

Stage 2

Concept Planning

This is where the garden design process starts in the form of an outline design with a plan, illustrative drawings (visuals) and mood boards to show suggestions for plants and hard landscaping materials.

Typically, a site survey is required to complete this stage to take measurements of the site to enable us to develop a concept plan.

We can then propose space plan options for different layouts based on existing and new elements and to come up with the best design solution to suit your requirements.

This process will involve feedback from yourselves as to which layout is the preferred. We will present the design in a 3d model and produce final working plans once the final design has been approved.

Material Decisions

Mood Board

In the first instance we would prepare a digital design mood board to enable you to visualise the space and agree design elements used within the scheme. At the next stage we would then develop this scheme in to a physical mood board and obtain product samples where required. The Mood Board, will include an inspirational images of styles, samples of materials and colours.

Stage 3

Detailed Design

Upon agreeing the concept plans this process involves translation of the design concept into a detailed Scope of Works which can include build-ready CAD drawings, construction & planting layout plans, precise material specifications, etc.

The Scope of Works document allows you to obtain comparisons of the design proposals which helps eliminate rough estimates. All of which is necessary to avoid nasty budget surprises once work starts.

We will also source options for materials to be presented on a Digital Design Board, with tangible samples where needed. Where needed we can also develop the 3d plans in to more detail to enable you to visualise the space and make important design decisions.

What People Are Saying

“Gary and Kieran were absolutely fantastic - they arrived on site punctually, were courteous and got the job done immaculately. First visit, plenty of waste to clear away, no issues whatsoever.

From the quality of work to the level of communication, I can safely say we've never had better service from a contractor before and we've already booked in our regular maintenance for visits every 2 weeks.

Cannot come more highly recommended!”

“Just had my front and back garden redesigned and landscaped by the New Look team. I can’t rate them highly enough. The boys turned up on time every morning with a smile on their faces ready to work hard for the day. They listened to our ideas and also suggested ways in which we could achieve them. Our project evolved over time and we asked for extra work to be done which New Look happily accommodated. Nothing was too much trouble for them. If you’d like a decent looking garden give this company a call.”

“One year on and we are still absolutely loving our garden. Kevin spent a lot of time working with us to get the best design and his expertise has really helped us get the most from our garden. If your wondering weather to invest the money in your garden I would say definitely go ahead and do it, for us it’s tripled the amount of time we now spend our there and we love it!”
